1Your details

These are used only to print on the assessment sheets in your Excel file. They are not saved or sent anywhere.

2Class and session

3Subject

4Assessment components

In each component, choose how many activities you want to take, then pick them.

5Number of students

Up to 61 students. Rows you do not need are hidden, and each sheet prints on one page.

How to use
  1. Type your name and school name (they are only printed on the sheets). Pick the class and subject, and type the session.
  2. In Assessment components, choose how many activities you want in Multiple Assessment, Subject Enrichment and Portfolio, then pick them. Choose Other to add your own activity with 4 rubrics. Then set the number of students.
  3. Press Download Excel file.
  4. Open it in Microsoft Excel on a computer or phone. If Excel shows Protected View, press Enable Editing, or the formulas will not calculate.
  5. Type student names and marks only in the cells that allow typing. All other cells are locked and the formulas are hidden.
  6. Enter student names once on the Main Sheet. The activity sheets pick them up by themselves.
  7. Enter periodic test marks on the Main Sheet and activity marks on each activity sheet. If you picked one activity in a part, its mark becomes the mark out of 5. If you picked more, the average of the best 2 is used. Totals out of 20 are worked out for you.
  8. Google Sheets and WPS Office may not work with this file.
  9. If your number of students changes, download a new file and copy your marks across with Paste Special, Values.

The activities and rubrics for each subject are drafted from CBSE's internal assessment guidance, which suggests activities rather than fixing a list. Please check them with your subject teachers.
